Samsung Galaxy S3: How to Delete Lock Screen Shortcuts

One of the way that you can do to save your time when using Samsung Galaxy SIII is by displaying shortcuts on your lock screen. This because you will be able to quickly access your favourites apps through shortcuts when your phone is locked.

Once you've enabled this option, then the shortcuts will be displayed on your lock screen and you will be able to customize the shortcuts. One of which is removing unused shortcuts that you don't wants to display.


How to remove shortcuts on lock screen.
Follow the steps listed below if you wants to remove unused shortcuts on lock screen:
  1. Go to Apps through Home screen.
  2. Scroll to Settings, then tap on it.
  3. Scroll to Lock screen, then tap on it.
  4. Tap Lock screen option.
  5. Ensure you've enable Shortcuts option. When the slider next to this option shows green or in the right side means this option is turned on.
  6. To delete shortcuts, tap and hold shortcuts then drag to the trash icon at the bottom of the screen, release to delete it.
  7. Tap Home button to return to the standby mode.

Once your phone is locked, the shortcuts you've just deleted will no longer be displayed there. So, hope this helps :)
