Samsung Galaxy S4: How to Sort Memo in S Memo App in Android 5.0.1 Lollipop

If you're hard to find a memo you want because you have a lot of memo and they are not in the order you want, you can make it easier by sorting them so that you can find the required memo with more easily. Fortunately, S Memo app in Samsung Galaxy S4 lets you sort your memo by date (most recent), date (oldest), name, tag, favourites, or user settings


How to sort memo in S Memo app?
You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. Open S Memo app. All of your memo will be displayed here, either text or handwritten memo.
  2. Tap the Menu key to open up the S Memo menus.
  3. Tap Sort by and then select from the following options:
    • Date (most recent): select this option to sort your memo by its date (from the newest modified/used memo to the oldest modified/used memo).
    • Date (oldest): select this option to sort your memo by its date (from the oldest modified/used memo to the newest modified/used memo.
    • Name: select this option to sort your memo by its name alphabetically.
    • Tag: select this option to sort your memo by its tag alphabetically.
    • Favourites: select this option to sort your memo based on how often you use them (from the most frequently used memo to the most rarely used memo).
    • User settings: select this option to sort your memo based on your latest arrangement when using the "Change order" menu.
  4. Your memo will be sorted with the selected sort order.

  1. Unfortunately, with the latest Samsung Note update, you can no longer sort your notes alphabetically and they took the Sort by Name option away. It now takes me forever to find the note I need.

  2. The last update changet my notes app so that I can no longer view them in alphabetical order. I am also getting g pop up ads ev ed ty tune I unlock my device. How do I back out the lady upgrade which was awful or at least get my notes back to the previous version where I can view them alphabetically and don't have to search on them.
