Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Change Edge Panel Position in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

By default, the edge panel and its handle in your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is located in the right edge screen. But, if this default position makes you have difficulty when accessing the edge panel, such as if you're a left handed user who will be easier if the edge panel handle is located in the left edge screen, you can change the position of the edge panel and its handle from the right side to the left side for easier and more convenient access to the edge panel.

How to change the edge panel position from the right side to the left side?
Assuming that the edge panels feature is enabled, you can change the position of the edge panel from the right side to the left side by using the following steps:

1. While the main screen is turned on, drag the edge screen handle towards the center of the screen to open the edge panel.
   
   
2. Tap at the bottom left corner of the screen to quickly go to the edge panels menu.
   
   

   FYI, if you access the edge panel from the lock screen and are using one of screen lock type with secure lock settings(PIN, password, fingerprints, pattern, or direction lock), you have to perform your current screen lock before you can access the edge panels menu.

3. Tap Edge panel handle settings.
   
   
4. Tap Position and then select Left side.
   
5. The position of the edge panel and its handle have been changed from the right edge screen to the left edge screen.
