Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Customise Tabs in Music App in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

The Music app in Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has 7 tabs that are enabled by default and used to sort your music collection by certain category, e.g., by playlists, by albums, by folders, by artists, etc. As the example, you can access your music collection through the playlists tab when you want to listen to the music within a playlist you have made before. If needed, you can choose to enable only the required tabs to simplify the app looks or rearrange the order of the tabs for easier access to your music collection.

How to customise tabs in the Music app?
You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. Open the Music app.
  2. Tap More at the top right and then select Settings.
  3. Tap Tabs to view all tabs. There are 7 tabs available: Playlists, Tracks, Albums, Artists, Genres, Folders, and Composers.
  4. To enable or disable tabs, check or uncheck the box in the left side of the required tab to enable or disable it. When the box is checked, means the tab is enabled and will be displayed in the Music app.
As a note, the playlists tab and the tracks tab cannot be disabled.
  5. To change the order of tabs, tap and hold next to the required tab and then drag it to required position. For easier access, you can place the frequently used tabs in the top 4 position.
